Fontana is an actor, improv performer, teacher, casting
director and coach. After graduating from SFSU with a B.A. in Drama, Fontana
went on to complete the two year Meisner training program at the Laura Henry
Studio in LA. She is now completing her Meisner teacher training with Laura
Henry at Academy of Art University where she also teaches improvisation and
acting. She has years of experience teaching, coaching and casting in Los
Angeles, New York and San Francisco and was a founding member of the award winning
improv troupe Big City Improv of which she also served as Artistic Director for
three years. Currently Fontana is a company member of the critically acclaimed
theater company Shotgun Players and is teaching Improv at Leela
Improv Theater and Training Company in San Francisco.
